Privacy Policy & PDPA notice

This policy explains how [Registered company name, UEN] ("PestSorted", "we") collects, uses and discloses your personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
1. Who we are
PestSorted is a matching service that connects homeowners with NEA-licensed pest control operators ("Operators"). We are not a pest control operator.
2. What we collect
- Name, mobile number and, optionally, email
- Postal code and property type
- Details of your pest problem and how urgent it is
- Technical data such as the page you submitted from, the time of submission, and campaign parameters (e.g. utm tags)
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email
Please don't include NRIC numbers or other sensitive information in the form.
3. Why we use it
- To match your request with suitable Operators and pass your details to them so they can contact you about it
- To follow up on whether you were contacted and to improve our matching
- To keep records needed for legal, accounting or dispute purposes
4. Consent and disclosure
When you tick the consent box, you agree that we may share your details with up to 3 Operators for your request. Operators may contact you by phone call, WhatsApp, SMS or email about that request, even if your number is on the Do Not Call Registry. We don't sell your personal data and we don't share it for unrelated marketing. Operators handle your data under their own obligations under the PDPA.
5. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@pestsorted.sg or messaging us on WhatsApp. We'll stop processing your request and tell the Operators we matched you with. Withdrawing consent may mean we can't help with your request.
6. Retention
We keep lead data only as long as needed for the purposes above. We aim to delete or anonymise it within 12 months of your request unless we're legally required to keep it longer. [Confirm the retention period before launch.]
7. Protection
We use reasonable security arrangements to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted transmission (HTTPS). We share only what an Operator needs to respond to your request.
8. Transfers outside Singapore
Our form, email or hosting providers may store data outside Singapore. Where that happens, we take steps to make sure your data gets protection comparable to the PDPA.
9. Access and correction
You may ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you. Contact our Data Protection Officer below.
